2905 Turkish Language Education PhD

GENERAL INFORMATION
Turkish Education Department Doctorate Program was opened within the body of Pamukkale University Institute of Educational Sciences in the 2020-2021 academic year. Three professors, three associate professors and three doctoral faculty members are still working in the department.

Objective
The aim of this course is to enable the candidate students of Turkish Education Department Doctorate Program to gain the ability to access information, evaluate and interpret information by conducting scientific research, and to increase the qualifications of Turkish Education for research and teacher training.


Admission Requirements
First cycle degree 3.30, acceptable score on centralized graduate entrance exam 70, placement through local oral/written exam and certificate of English proficiency 55 for under graduate students. Graduation Requirements
All candidates have to complete at least 24 local credits (180 ECTS) with PhD thesis.

Career Opportunties
A successful student who has completed at least one semester in another institution / department of the university or another post-graduate program of another higher education institution may be admitted to the post-graduate programs by horizontal transfer. The conditions for acceptance by horizontal transfer are determined by the Senate.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Access to Further Studies
A student graduated with a good PhD Degree may carry on an academic carrier as a lecturer or post doctorate researcher.
