1223 Textile Engineering(Without Thesis)

GENERAL INFORMATION
The Textile Engineering Graduate Programme offers specific courses in various specialized options like fiber processing and manufacturing technologies, theoretical information about spinning, yarn production technologies, theoretical information about woven, knitted and nonwoven fabric surface production, and their manufacturing technologies, wet processing of textile products, garment manufacturing and productivity issues, technical textiles, functional textiles, product inspection and quality control processes.

Objective
Graduates of textile engineering graduate program are expected to gain advanced knowledge on different aspects of the textile. Graduates of the program are also expected to make contribution to the textile industry with development of innovative approaches at different textile topics. They are inteded to have ability to solve textile related problems effectively. Program graduates shoul be able to adapt themselves to the rapid change of sectoral conditions, to improve innovative approaches, product development, process improvements, and effective use of technology.


Admission Requirements
First cycle degree, acceptable score on centralized graduate entrance exam, placement through local oral/written exam and certificate of English proficiency

Career Opportunties
Program graduates can be employed in ctextile companies and organizations in the field of textile production, planning and marketing departments. And also there are some openings in the public institutions.

Recognition of Prior Learning
Recognition of previous structured lectures in Turkish Higher Education Institutions, transitions in vertical, horizontal and university are realized within the scope of the "Higher Education Regulations", "REGULATION BETWEEN THE BACHELORS AND GRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS, ON HIGHER EDUCATION AND TRANSITION BETWEEN DOUBLE MAJOR DALL, SIDE DALL AND CREDIT TRANSFER STANDARDS

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
In order to graduate from the Master's programme in Computer Engineering; 60 ECTS compulsory, elective and seminar course credits, 60 ECTS Specialisation course and Master's Thesis course credits, a total of 120 ECTS must be successfully completed and the academic average determined by the senate for graduation at the end of the education period must be met.
