774 TOURISM AND VOYAGE SERVICES (Evening Classes)

GENERAL INFORMATION
The program started the education in 2010-2011 teaching period. Quota of the program is 50.

Objective
This program aims to educate qualified staff for tourism and travel industry. The graduates of this program will be capable of founding and running tourism establishments after regular legislation.


Admission Requirements
Students are accepted in accordance with regulations set by YÖK

Graduation Requirements
Students are required to complete all compulsory and elective courses in the curriculum successfully with no failing grades, including compulsory practical teaching training, and have a minimum CGPA requirement as stated in Pamukkale University’s associate program guidance.

Career Opportunties
A, B, C group with a variety of travel agents, transport companies operate in different categories

Without examination the graduates of Anadolu University Open Education Faculty have the right to migrate 3.sınıfına. In addition, DGS, if they are successful in the graduate program of formal education there are opportunities to continue.

PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES
1To obtain general information about the tourism industry and demonstrate comprehension of basic concepts related to the sector
2Ensure adequate communication with the tourism industry and guests are going to be enough to have knowledge of a foreign language
3With the knowledge of basic computer use in business travel management in the software and hardware necessary analyzes and be able to transfer
4Written and oral communication proficiency and high powers of persuasion to have to be sensitive to differences between people and cultures
5To be aware of the social and professional ethical values​​, respect for private life
6Travel agents have the basic knowledge and skills related to activity areas, to relationships with other businesses
7Airline ticket reservation and sale of businesses, especially transport operators to have the knowledge and skills
8Integration of the activities of travel agencies and links to other areas of the tourism industry to have knowledge about the
9Perform basic financial calculations and analysis required for travel management
10To have knowledge of the history and geography. Knowledge of historical and touristic places of Turkey. Knowledge of the civilizations in Anatolia. Earth to be informed about the major historical and tourist sites.
11Conferences, seminars, meetings with organizations to realize the skills and knowledge to be able to work organization
12Occupational safety, to be informed about labor laws, be sensitive to the social and natural environment
