785 MEDICAL AND AROMATIC PLANTS

In the academic year 2012-2013, Pamukkale University started to provide training in Tavas. He is still continuing his education in Tavas Vocational School of Plant and Animal Production.

Objective
Biological, ecological, genetic and systematic properties of the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, culture, collection and protection from nature, chemical contents and analysis methods, supply, production and quality controls, use It is a program that trains auxiliary technical personnel who have basic knowledge and practice in their fields and ethics.


Admission Requirements
Pamukkale University Tavas Vocational School Medical Aromatic Plants Program; In the result of the exam made by the Higher Education Council Measurement Selection and Placement Center, students who have enough points in TYT point type and have special conditions are taken. Programs are also accepted as students through horizontal transfer. These transitions are regulated by a directive and students can switch between diploma programs of different higher education institutions or diploma programs within the same higher education institution only within the previously announced number and transition conditions.

Graduation Requirements
These courses have been completed by writing in the lesson plans of the associate degree department / programs they are enrolled in. Pamukkale University Associate Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Education and Examination Regulations, such as internship and graduation project, students who have successfully completed their studies are considered to have completed university education.

Career Opportunties
Students are required to complete all compulsory and elective courses in the curriculum successfully with no failing grades, including compulsory internship trainings and summer practises, and have a minimum CGPA requirement as stated in Pamukkale University’s associate program guidance. We need to persons who have educated about this sector and can teach right procedure for wine. Students who graduated from this program can work in public and special sectors.

Recognition of Prior Learning
For students who want to transfer from higher education institutions in Turkey to Pamukkale University, the provisions of the "Regulation on the Principles of Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer" are applied. The common compulsory foreign language courses exemption exam is held at the beginning of the fall semester on the date specified in the academic calendar. No make-up exam is allowed for this exam. Students of faculties/vocational schools/schools who do not have a preparatory program take the joint compulsory foreign language exemption exam. Students who will take the exemption exam apply to the relevant unit within the period specified in the academic calendar. Also; Students who enroll in departments with foreign language preparatory programs for the first time take a placement and proficiency exam before the academic year starts. Students are placed in one of the beginner, intermediate-lower level or intermediate level groups according to the scores they get in this exam, or those who have proficiency points are exempted from preparatory education. The score ranges of these groups are determined by the School Directorate. Exam results are announced in relevant places and on the website of the School of Foreign Languages. Among the students who are enrolled in the departments/programs accepted to the compulsory preparatory education, those who do not take the level determination and proficiency exam start their education at the beginning level.
