GENERAL INFORMATION
The task of the Physiotherapy Technician; To provide safe and effective treatment of patients by applying the specified physical therapy devices to the patients whose treatment program is determined after being evaluated by the FTR specialist in all institutions providing FTR service.

Objective
The goal of the program; To train health personnel equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for the execution of physical therapy procedures in health institutions, physical therapy units and the private sector.


Admission Requirements
Students who are to take this program must take the Student Selection Examination (ÖSS) made by OSYM Presidency and get enough "Numerical (SAY)" points.

Graduation Requirements
Students enrolled at Pamukkale University in the academic year of 2018-2019 should complete at least 2.25 academic averages and 120 ECTS. Students who are enrolled at Pamukkale University before 2018-2019 academic year and who take courses from the program must complete at least 2.30 academic averages and 120 ECTS.

Career Opportunties
Students who will graduate this programme would have the job title of Health Technician (Physiotherapy Technician). Physiotherapy Technicians can work in Physical Therapy Units of public and special health institutes under the supervision of specialist doctor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Areas of employment; graduates work in inpatient / outpatient health associations and institudes and rehabilitation centers related to Ministry of Health, inpatient / outpatient health associations and institudes related to Universities, nursing homes, thermal centers, health tourism hotels.

Recognition of Prior Learning
For those who want to transfer from higher education to Pamukkale University in higher education in Turkey, it is used to transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Level Programs, Double Relationship and Inter-Institutional Transfer. Exemption exam for language lessons for common use is held during the day and in the afternoon. The excuse for this does not pass the exam. The common English language exemption exam is considered to be a preparatory school/college. Those who will take the exemption exam apply to the unit within the period specified in the academic calendar. Also; First preparations for the first preparatory departments, planning before the academic year planning and entrance exams. In this exam, students are exempt from education, which is basic according to the middle score, and from the lower-level intermediate-level groups, which should have education proficiency. These city score ranges are determined by the School Directorate. The relevant exam and the Internet of the School of Foreign Languages ​​are announced. Those who are accepted to compulsory education education/who do not take the level determination and proficiency exam without registering to the programs start education from the basic level.

TEACHING & LEARNING METHODS
