GENERAL INFORMATION
MEDICAL IMAGING TECHNIQUES Diagnosis and treatment of high-tech imaging systems (Conventional and Digital Radiology, Fluoroscopy, Digital Subtraction Angiography, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, etc..) Training acquired during the elementary medicine and radiology information and hospital practices in the light, to use emerging technologies in the field to implement the technical hardware , knowledge of synthesizing ability, eye and hand coordination comfortable, to use them while their and ill health in terms of radiation protection related information to interpret and to apply the experience and the physician and co-ordination skills with a "Professional Medical Imaging Technician" training is to.

Objective
The aim of the program is to train qualified radiology technician to work in the field of medical imaging for diagnosis and treatment using ionizing and non-ionizing radiation.


Admission Requirements
Students who are to be taken in this program must take the student selection test conducted by the OSYM and get enough points.

Graduation Requirements
Students enrolled at Pamukkale University in the academic year of 2018-2019 should complete at least 2.25 academic averages and 120 ECTS. Students who are enrolled at Pamukkale University before 2018-2019 academic year and who take courses from the program must complete at least 2.30 academic averages and 120 ECTS.

Career Opportunties
Graduates of the Medical Imaging Techniques program can work as technicians in the Departments of Radiology (Conventional Radiology, Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance, Angiography, Mammography, Fluoroscopy), Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy of the government, universities, private hospitals, private medical centers and special imaging centers.

Recognition of Prior Learning
For those who are required to be in a transition school from higher education to Pamukkale University in Turkey, in the associate degree program, “Passage between the Pairing and Undergraduate Level Programs, Double, Minor and Transition between Institutions, Limit and Institutions is applied. It is half done by the academic at the beginning. The excuse for this is not passing the exam successfully. Since the preparatory education for the common English language exemption exam will be faculty-vocational college-school. Those who will take the exemption exam apply to the relevant unit within the period specified in the academic calendar. In addition, from the language preparatory departments to the departments, the first enrollment preparation, plans before the academic year preparation and take the proficiency exam. According to the middle score in this exam, those who have basic, lower or intermediate level education qualifications are exempt from preparatory education. These city score ranges are determined by the School Directorate. The relevant exam and the Internet of the School of Foreign Languages ​​are announced. The education starts from the basic level for those who are accepted to compulsory education education/registered to the programs and do not attend the general education and proficiency exams.

TEACHING & LEARNING METHODS
