Course Objective
The aim of this lecture to teach finishing of denim fabrics.
Course Content
Hıstory of denım, denım washıng, types of denim fabrics, indigo dyeing, dyeing of denim fabrics with indigo, mechanical washes (stone washing, microsanding), chemical washes (denim bleaching, enzyme washing, acid washing), denim bleaching, denim finishing with enzymes, laser fading, ozone fading, special effects of denim fabrics.
