Course Objective	This course, it is aimed that the student will be able to discuss the subjects related to the operating room and current developments related to these subjects in line with national and international standards, evidence-based sources and guides, and plan and conduct studies related to the field in line with the knowledge gaine.
Course Content	The content of the course includes the physical characteristics of the operating room and the roles and responsibilities of the surgical team, patient/employee/environmental safety, evidence based studies in the prevention of intraoperative complications and the responsibilities of the nurse, special surgical practices, in-service training, ethical issues and AORN standards.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.
