It is aimed to teach population geography of Ottoman State and population policy of the State.
Course Content
Establishment of Turkmen’s to conquested places; exiles to cheer up a village or a land. To make nomads settle in a place in the 17th and 18th centuries in order to get taxes from them. Nomad tribes. Demographic situation of Ottoman State and population movements in modern age period
