The meaning and benefit of history, to be learning comprehension of historiography, to be learning review and research methods of Ottoman history, to be able to determine and select the issues to understand the administrative, political, social, cultural and military structure of the Ottoman Empire Preparing the determined topics in accordance with the methodological and academic criteria and criticizing the resources

Ottoman Chronicles, Ottoman Archive Documents, Historiography from the foundation of Ottoman to French Revolution, developing and changing methodologies and practices To be giving information about Modern Era History by drawing the chronological and spatial boundaries
