Course Objective It is aimed that the participants use and adopt the jargon of sociology of religion.
Course Content In this course, great discourses, which we call meta-narratives, will be discussed from the perspective of sociology of religion. In this context, within the framework of titles such as morality, science, atheism, art, health, state, modernism, and postmodernism, the topics that come from social life and that we cannot understand the world we live without will be discussed.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1The candidate will have information about religion and its limits in the world we live in.
2By analyzing the relationship between religion and science, he understands the place of this relationship in the shaping of modern society.
3The student becomes aware of the relationship of religion with moral, legal and aesthetic values.
4Analyzes the influence areas of religion in the context of fundamentalism, nationalism and globalization.
5Will be willing to make observations, measurements and analyzes on the effectiveness of clergy and religiosity at local, national and international levels.
