Course Objective Within the scope of this course, it is aimed that the students acquire the skills of Research Methods in Behavioral Sciences.
Course Content Students will be able to determine a research question related to the topics they are interested in and design an independent research, to recognize different data collection methods (observation, interview, survey, field study, etc.) and sampling types, be able to determine the appropriate data collection methods and sample type, to know the basic psychometric properties of psychological tests and scales and how these tests and scales are developed, to know the qualitative and quantitative research methods, to know the ethical rules that researchers must comply with, to understand scientifically in terms of content and format. write a research proposal with acceptable characteristics and work as a team.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Can design independent research on topics of interest and questions to which the answer is curious.
2Recognizes different data collection formats (observation, interview, survey, field study, etc.), can choose and apply the appropriate one.
2While doing a research, he/she can choose and use appropriate sampling techniques.
4Be aware of the ethical rules to be followed while conducting research and adopts acting in accordance with the ethical rules as a value.
5Will be able to write a research proposal in accordance with scientific criteria in terms of content and format.
6Can carry out a research through teamwork.
