Course Objective The aim of the course is to provide graduate students with knowledge about religious development and theories. n this context, it is aimed to comprehend the development of the concept of God, religious thought, belief and moral development stages.
Course Content The course contents include the nature of religious development, factors determining religious development, introduction to religious development theories, genetic theory, Piaget and cognitive development theory, Baldwin and Harms theory, Elkind theory, Goldman and religious thought development theory, moral development theories, lifelong religious development theories and al-urvetü'l-vüskā model in terms of Islamic development.
