Course Objective Prepares a curriculum development study by gaining awareness about the curriculum development process
Course Content The content of this course; basic concepts of program development; factors that necessitate program development, program types; the historical, philosophical, psychological, economic and social foundations of curriculum development; elements of the education program –aim, content, teaching-learning processes, evaluation-; program development models; curriculum design approaches; program development process – gradual classification of goals, identification and writing of goals and behavioral goals, selection and arrangement of content; organization of teaching and testing situations; It covers knowledge and skills related to new approaches in curriculum development and applied curriculum design.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

2Relates the theoretical foundations of curriculum development (historical, philosophical, psychological, social, economic, individual, subject area).

6Gains the competencies to evaluate all aspects of a training program
7Evaluates the effects of changes in the social, economic and cultural dimensions of the society on education programs.
8Follows current practices, national and international publications in the field of education programs and teaching
