Course Objective
Its aimed to provide information about engine management and ECU calibration of internal combustion engines.
Course Content
The structure and operation of sensors and control elements in engine management. In spark ignition and diesel engine fuel injection systems. Electronic ignition systems for spark ignition engines. CAN design and OBD strategies. Engine testing and fault detection. Motor control algorithms. ECU/ECM design and programming. Model-based simulation environment or dynamometer parameter optimization of the engine control system during testing. Calibration and optimization of control parameters in terms of engine power, fuel consumption, emissions and durability.
