Course Objective The aim of this course is to understand the philosophy of total quality management (TQM) in sports, to learn the history, development stages and pioneers of TQM, to have information about the basic concepts and tools of TQM, advanced topics such as restructuring, kaizen, benchmarking and six sigma related to TQM in sports. to learn and explain, to examine and present practical examples of TQM belonging to sports institutions and private sectors.
Course Content Total quality management (TQM), TQM history, development stages and pioneers, TQM basic concepts and tools, TQM philosophy in sports, restructuring of TQM in sports, kaizen, benchmarking and six sigma, TQM examples of sports institutions and private sectors.
