Course Objective	To explain the understanding and development of local government, the reasons for the existence of local governments within the framework of the legislation in Turkey and their duties related to sports.
Course Content	Explanation, development and models of the union concepts of municipalities, special provincial administrations, villages and local government in Turkey; relations and supervision of local governments with the central government, sharing of powers and duties, financial structures; developments in local government legislation and sportive duties of local governments. Applications of local governments in the field of sports in the World
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	Explains and defines the concepts related to local governments.
2	Discusses the local government structure of the country. Countries can compare the structure of local governments.
3	To be able to evaluate the relationship between local governments and sports. Defines local government and sports law. Analysis of local government sporting events.
