Course Objective The aim of this course is to increase the student's knowledge of statistics specific to the field of sports management science and to enable them to learn, conclude and comment on the statistical methods required for research in the SPSS package program.
Course Content Descriptive statistics, normality assumptions, parametric, nonparametric, validity, and reliability analyses for use in research in sports management.

3 Some basic concepts in Statistics: Population, Sample, Variable, Data, Type of Data, Measurement, Type of Measurements, Basic Definitions.
4 Central Tendency Measurements;Mean, Median, Mod. Variability Measurements; Variance, Standart Deviation.
5 Classification of Data, Tables and Graphs.
6 Data manipulation and entry in Excel. Processing the data into SPSS program.
7 Percentage, average, standard deviation etc. using SPSS program. processes and comments .
8 Normality tests.
9 Reliability analysis using SPSS program. Tables and comments.
10 T test, Mann Whitney-U test. Tables and comments.
11 ANOVA, Kruskal Wallis H-test. Tables and comments.
12 Correlation: Pearson correlation and Spearman correlation.
13 Regression analysis
14 General evaluation and examination of the studies carried out.
