Course Objective
To teach students the basic concepts of automotive engineering and to increase their interest in automotive engineering. Giving the ability to follow technological developments in the automotive industry to students.
Course Content
The fundamentals about automotive engineering, automotive history, automotive design and dynamics, vehicle manufacturing methods, vehicle safety, vehicle components, drives, motors, hybrid vehicles, fuels and combustion, emissions, vehicle powertrain, vehicle electronic systems, automotive mechatronics, electric vehicles, automotive industry and technological developments.
