Course Objective
The aim of this course is to inform about properties and applications of nanomaterials and to create awareness about the process, structure and productions of this developing rapidly new areas.In this course information is given about ;Definition of nanomaterials,concept of nano dimensions, basic principles of nanomaterials and importance and application areas of nanotubes,high performance of materials gained due to nano dimensions, synthesis and productions methods of nanomaterials, investigations tools for nanoproperties.Current status, future and targets of nanomaterials are discusssed.
Course Content
Classification of nanostructures, the theoretical foundations of nanostructures and nanomaterials, Basic principles of nanomaterial synthesis techniques, Nanoparticle synthesis, shaped nanoparticles, microstructural control and physical properties of nanoscale materials, understanding of the required principles of nanoscale material's behavior.
