COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Bachelor's Degree
Course Type Compulsory
Course Objective Being able to express the importance of languages in our lives. To express the kinds of words, their formation how and where they have to be used. To use punctuation marks correctly and confidently in writing practices.
Course Content Language and culture, languages in the world, alphabets in the Turkish world, historical periods of Turkish language, status of Turkish language today and propagation areas, phonetics, morphology, word types: names, verbs, adverbs, postposition, conjunction, interjection, spelling rules, punctuation marks, general composition information.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Person knows the importance of language and life of a nation, it explains and uses the language of this consciousness.
2Sound structure of words and shapes, formations, types, and where they should be used and how it knows, and explains and applies this knowledge and uses this information in foreign language learning.
3Knows the importance of using correct language in written expression, applies the rules.
4Knows the rules of spelling and punctuation and uses on-site.
5Language, culture and seeing the connection between the concepts of nation in terms of personal and social development to use the language correctly and effectively reaches the consciousness.
6Know and apply the importance of following the developments in the language.
7Turkish history and knows the areas of propagation, uses this information to the social and vocational initiatives.
8Written and oral use of language in relation to the universitymoved to the level of knowledge and addresses the shortcomings of the application.
9Scientific research, conferences, and effective use of speech and the right in accordance with the written language.
10Knows the methods of text analysis, analysis or synthesis of the subject may need.
