Course Objective It is aimed to learn the mechanisms of problems requiring oncological physiotherapy and rehabilitation, clinical approaches, principles of oncological patient evaluation and treatment by combining theoretical and practical knowledge.
Course Content Cancer definition, etiology and development mechanisms, general information about chemotherapy, radiotherapy and oncological surgical procedures, general concepts in oncology rehabilitation, symptoms seen in oncological diseases: cancer pain, dyspnea, fatigue; causes, evaluation and treatment, evaluation of cancer patient, functional and musculoskeletal problems in cancer patients, lung cancer and rehabilitation, colorectal cancers and their reablitation, hematological cancers and rehabilitation, breast cancer and rehabilitation, lymphedema after breast cancer surgery, decongestive physiotherapy practice in the treatment of lymphedema
