COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The course aims to give the student the basic theoretical knowledge about the development of normal movement, area of motor development, models of motor development, breast milk, neonatal jaundice, childhood vaccines, infectious disease, hypoxic – ischemic encephalopathy, hemophilia, pediatric heart disease, neurogenic bladder, cerebral palsy, muscular diseases. In addition, the scope of this course is to give basic information about the neurological examination in children with problematic.
Course Content Neurological evaluation in children, mental and motor retardation, diseases of peripheric and central nervous system.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1They know growth and development a healthy child in pediatrics.
2They know neurological diseases and problems in pediatrics.
3They can do physiotherapy assessment of children with neurological problems.
4They will follow the development of the children in terms of physiotherapy. They can set neurological problems in advance.
