Course Objective To teach how analyze and synthesize continuous time filters.
Course Content Continuous time signals. Filter concept and filter types. Transfer function of filters. Butterworth and Chebyshev filters. Passive and active filters. First and second order filters. Blok diagram and signal flow diagram synthesize methods. State space representation and state space synthesize method. Op-Amp-RC and OTA-RC filters. Introduction to Logarithmic domain filters.
