Course Objective The main objective of this course is to introduce the student to the rich world of Project Management methodologies and its application at a global scale.
Course Content Core concepts of project management based on processes of initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects. Topics include project proposals, project selection, scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, control techniques, and project manager skills.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Discuss effective project management practices and skills and how projects should be properly managed.
2Describe the different phases of the project life cycle and plan appropriate activities for each phase of the project life cycle.
3Develop and evaluate Work Breakdown Structures(WBS).
4Understand how project budgets are developed within an organization and know how to prepare and revise budgets and cost estimates.
5Identify network techniques that are commonly used to project scheduling and be able to calculate and evaluate critical paths and dates on network diagrams
6Estimate and assign resources to project activities and know how to level resources and address resource problems by prioritizing project activities.
7Develop a comprehensive project plan, including baselines and subsidiary plans.
