Course Objective This course aims to provide undergraduate students with a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management principles, strategies and the role of technology in optimizing supply chain operations. Through a 14-week program, it helps students develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to modern supply chain management. It enables them to develop skills in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, production planning, logistics design and the use of technology. By the end of the program, students will be prepared to tackle supply chain challenges using planning, optimization techniques and technology tools, contributing to efficient and sustainable supply chain management practices.
Course Content Supply chain management and planning, demand forecasting, inventory management and optimization, production planning and scheduling, advanced planning systems and technologies, logistics and shipment planning processes

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Develop skills to select and apply appropriate demand forecasting methods, evaluate their accuracy and adapt strategies based on the results.
2Gain skills to calculate economic order quantities (EOQ), safety stock levels and understand inventory turnover rates.
3Learn to create production schedules, balance capacity and use lean principles to optimize production processes.
4Gain skills in designing logistics networks, route planning and using transportation and warehouse management systems.
5Become proficient in using supply chain technologies such as APS, ERP systems and data analytics tools.
