Course Objective The aim of this course is to teach students the fundamentals of project management in software technologies and to strengthen them by combining them with real-world applications and industry strategies. It aims to provide students with the skills needed to successfully plan, manage and evaluate software projects. It also aims to empower students to effectively manage project teams and make strategic decisions for the success of projects.
Course Content - Introduction and importance of project management concepts - Project management process groups and phases - Challenges and industry context specific to software projects - Project scope and requirements management - Time management, scheduling and agile approaches - The importance of risk management and quality control - Human resource management, leadership and team collaboration - Change management and project monitoring mechanisms - Strategic project selection, innovation and software portfolio management - Project presentations, reporting and communication skills - Applications and analysis on real-world software projects This course is intended for students who want to understand the theoretical foundations of project management in software technologies and reinforce these foundations with practical applications. The course aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to manage projects effectively, and provides the necessary equipment to successfully complete software projects and gain competitive advantage in the industry.
