Course Objective This course aims to provide students with the ability to apply simulation techniques in the creation of digital twin models of various problems in production systems; to interpret the results, and to make real-life projects.
Course Content Introduction of the digital twin concept; Introduction of the simulation-based optimization concept and its applications; Modelling the production and service conditions in virtual environment and testing alternative scenarios; Monitoring and controlling performance criteria.
