Course Objective Main aim of lean manufacturing is the idea of producing the required materials in a moderate quantity on time in the right place. It is a fact that all the systems, approaches and methods for industrial engineers who want to develop a competitive production system which consistently provide products and services that are competitive with regard to better quality, cheaper price, faster time and more agile.
Course Content Introductıon to Just in Time Manufaturing, waste elimination, housekeeping (5S), set-up reduction, push and pull production control systems, kanban systems, value stream mapping, scheduling of mixed model assembly line and production smoothing.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
