COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The aim of this course is to emphasize the importance of scientific research and to enable students to carry out scientific research and write scientific reports. Another aim is to enable students to understand the potential ethical problems faced by managers in modern organizations, the ethical dilemmas that may present themselves, and ways in which these dilemmas can be addressed more effectively in practice.
Course Content The content of the course consists of the ethics concept, fundamentals of ethics, ethics for science, ethics for research, ethics for job and occupation, ethics for engineering applications, and ethics for industrial engineering. After examining the ethical problems in scientific studies, how to form a research problem, how to scan the literature, how to establish a hypothesis, and what to pay attention to in research design are discussed. By analyzing the published scientific articles, how the logic of scientific thought is developed and the basic steps of scientific studies are examined practically.

5Comprehends ethical theories,scientific research and publications ethics and all aspects of the concept of professional ethics.
6Designs and conducts a scientific research in accordance with ethical rules.
