Course Objective
This lesson provides information about the toxic effects of drugs and possible intoxication conditions and provides the correct use of the drug in the treatment process. The aim of this lesson is to provide students with basic knowledge about toxicology and toxic effects.
Course Content
Basic terms of toxicology, mutagenic / carcinogenic / teratogenic effects, drug use in pregnancy, drug allergies, poison entry ways, acute drug poisoning, neurotoxins, hepatotoxins and nephrotoxins, alcohol related interactions and chronic alcohol poisoning.
