Course Objective The aim of this lesson is to give the basic information about the structural properties, functions and metabolism of enzymes and biomolecules.
Course Content Definition of biochemistry, Metabolism: Anabolism and catabolism, Homeostasis, Proteins and amino acids; structural properties, classification and protein-amino acid metabolism Enzymes and Coenzymes, Vitamins, Minerals, Carbohydrates; definition, properties and classification, carbohydrate metabolism Lipids; Definition, properties and classification, Lipid metabolism, Nucleotides and nucleic acids, Hormones
