Course Objective The aim of this lesson is to teach basic latin grammar, basic terminology of diseases and terms used in pharmacy profession.
Course Content Introduction to Pharmaceutical Terminology, prefixes and suffixes, prescription information Codex and Pharmacopoeia, together with the medical terms used in pharmacy, pharmacognosy, pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical toxicology, pharmaceutical technology, terminology is given.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

1To have sufficient knowledge and application skills in research, development and production of natural and synthetic drugs and active substances
2Gain knowledge about basic concepts of pharmacy.

5Have knowledge about Codex, pharmacopeia and pharmacy rules.
