Course Objective This course aims to provide students with knowledge and skills about the formation of radioactive materials and types of medical waste.
Course Content This course includes the concept of radioactivity, radioactive material and its types, radiation sources, conditions of use and storage of radioactive material, biological effects of radiation and protection from radiation, definition and types of medical waste, classification, collection and disposal of medical waste.
