Course Objective With this course, the student will be able to recognize the emergency x-ray, prepare the patient for the emergency x-ray and prepare for the radiographic examination, take the patient position for the cranium, thorax, abdomen, extremity and vertebra shots in the emergency x-ray, actively use the left-over x-ray device and the operations related to the CT scans. is intended to be introduced.
Course Content Emergency X-ray sensitivities, patient welcome, Emergency cranial radiography, thorax radiography, abdominal radiography, extremity radiography and vertebral radiography positions. Introduction of portable x-ray device and inpatient radiography. Table and stand cleaning of emergency x-ray equipment. Emergency CT acquisition protocols. Emergency radiography and CT scans case discussions.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Knows and uses Emergency Radiology devices.
2He knows how to approach the emergency patient and prepares the patient for radiography.
3Knows portable x-ray device and obtains radiographs. Obtains cranium, thorax, abdomen, extremity and vertebra radiographs.
4Recognizes the emergency CT device, knows the shooting protocols and obtains the images.
