Course Objective It aims to give general information about drug administration routes and drugs and the pharmacology of drugs used in medical imaging.
Course Content Basic Concepts in Pharmacology,  Basic rules for drug definition and Application     Characteristics of Contrast Agents, Application of Contrast Agents,    Uses of Contrast Agents, Contract Agents Used in MR Imaging,    Used in CT Imaging Contrast Agents,    Adverse reactions observed in the contrast agent,  Contrast agent use in pregnant women and children,    Anaphylactic shock,  Laxative agents
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1General definitions and explain the concepts of pharmacology.
2Knows the properties of Contrast agents used in Medical Imaging and understands their usage areas.
3Explains the acute and chronic side effects of contrast agents and the principles of approach to poisoned patients.
