To examine modern methods in radiology and to examine the technical features and working principles of tomographic systems and to analyze images, to examine modern devices and methods.
Course Content
Working principles of Computed Radiography (CR) and Digital radiography (DR) devices, Technical characteristics and working principle of Computed Tomography (CT) devices, Basic principles of Computed Tomography imaging method, Technical examination of single-section and multi-section CT devices, Technical examination of dual-energy CT devices features and working principle, CT image artifacts and solution methods, Technical features and working principle of Positron Emission Tomography (PET) devices, PET image analysis, Technical features and working principle of Single-Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) devices and image analysis, Magnetic Resonance Technical features and working principle of (MR) devices, basic principles of MR imaging method, Technical features and working principle of Ultra Low Magnetic Resonance devices, Technical features and working principle of Ultra High Magnetic Resonance devices, MR image artifacts and solution methods
