Course Objective
It is aimed to improve the students' ability to establish a cause-effect relationship and to increase their general knowledge level by using the methods of researching subjects related to dialysis, literature review, record review and evaluation of patients in dialysis centers
Course Content
Acute kidney failure, chronic kidney failure, issues related to system diseases, laws and regulations on the functioning of dialysis centers, routine examinations, records and reporting of dialysis patients. Patient follow-up and complications in predialysis, acute dialysis, peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, home hemodialysis, kidney transplantation, dialysis in intensive care patients. Occupational safety in dialysis, psychosocial problems and approach in dialysis patients, drugs used in dialysis, nutrition in dialysis disease, water purification systems in hemodialysis, intravenous catheter infections, infection and vaccination in hemodialysis units, problems and solutions encountered in renal replacement treatments, obstetrics and gynecology in dialysis, dialysis Anemia and EPO application in patients with dialysis, emergency intervention applications in dialysis patients, dialysis-related thesis review and reporting.
