Course Objective It teaches cells and organelles, carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, nucleic acid biochemistry and diagnostic applications, vitamins, trace elements, general endocrine function, analitical variables, routine biochemical parameters and metabolism of xenobiotics.
Course Content Proteins and metabolism, and carbohydrate metabolism, lipids and metabolism, enzymes and bioenergy, biological membranes, hormones, fluid and electrolyte balance, acid-base balance, renal biochemistry, vitamins, minerals, genetics and disease, liver biochemistry, hb metabolism, peritoneal fluid.
