Course Objective Nutrition principles course provides skills such as creating nutrition plans to ensure appropriate protein, fluid and mineral balance for dialysis patients, understanding diet and drug interactions to increase the effectiveness of dialysis treatment, and determining nutritional strategies in accordance with kidney functions.
Course Content t teaches health and nutrition, nutrients, carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals, beverages and fluid balance, adequate and balanced nutrition principles, obesity and the diseases it causes, nutrition in CKD patients.
