COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The aim is to ensure that they have the knowledge and skills to educate the patient about peritoneal dialysis treatment and equipment used, education and care for the patient to be applied peritoneal dialysis, complications that may occur during the application of peritoneal dialysis and in the daily life of the patient, peritoneal dialysis methods, and peritoneal dialysis applications in our country and in the world.
Course Content Peritoneal access devices and placement techniques, continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD), patient selection criteria in the treatment of Instrumented Peritoneal dialysis (APD), patient education in peritoneal dialysis, patient monitoring in peritoneal dialysis treatment, evaluation of dialysis efficiency in continuous outpatient peritoneal dialysis treatment, blood in peritoneal dialysis patients The importance of blood pressure and volume monitoring, infectious and non-infectious complications, home visits and psychosocial support in peritoneal dialysis, malnutrition and obesity in CAPD patients, instrumented peritoneal dialysis, peritoneal dialysis in pediatric patients.

1To gain knowledge about peritoneal dialysis application and to gain knowledge and skills to educate the patient.

4She/He understands that her practices directly affect the life expectancy and quality of patients.
