Course Objective It aims to teach the general definition of hematology, the structure and functions of blood cells, and hematological diseases.
Course Content Introduction to hematology, blood cells structure and functions, diseases, blood cell recognition and counting methods, blood groups, blood transfusion, bleeding diathesis and related factors, anemias, procedures performed in blood banks.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

1Learns the basic concepts about hematology
2Learns erythrocyte structure, functions and diseases
3Learns the functioning of the hematology laboratory, the working principles of the blood counting device, the analysis process in the device and the interpretation of the results.
