COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To teach the basic concepts of statistical methods used in the field of health sciences, to decide on the necessary statistical tests and to enable them to perform the appropriate test in a computer environment.
Course Content Health services and biostatistics, central tendency and distribution measures, significance tests, table and graph construction method, hypothesis tests, Parametric and Non-parametric tests (Independent Samples T Test, Mann-Whitney U Test, One Sample T Test, Wilcoxon Two Related Samples Test, Paired Samples Test, Variance Analysis, Kruskal Wallis Test, General Linear Model, Friedman Test, Correlation and Regression Analysis, Chi square X², Significance Test of Difference Between Two Percentages)
