Course Objective The aim of this course, the student will be able to perform the installation of the control elements and control circuit elements to operate one-phase and three-phase asynchronous motors, change the direction of rotation and braking.
Course Content Control Elements, Protection Relays, Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors Continuous and Continuous Operation, Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors Two-Way (Remote) Operation, Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors Changeover Direction, Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors Resistance Starting, Rotor Induction Motor Winding Asynchronous Motors

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1To install control components,operating three phase ac motors interrupted,continuous and remote mode. Starting, stopping, working and reversing application with three phase ac motors. Starting, stopping, working and reversing application with mono phase ac motors,winded rotor ac motors,two speed ac motors.

1 Buttons, Packet switches, limit switches. Application: Examination of buttons, pacho switches and limit switch connections.
2 Inductive sensor, capacitive sensor, optical sensor, pressure sensor. Application: Investigation of inductive, capacitive, optical sensor circuit connections.
3 Time relays. Application: electromechanical control circuit application with time relay.
4 Electromagnetic selenoid valves. Application: Investigation of the connection of the electromagnetic solenoid valves to the circuit.
5 Relays and contactors. Application: Examination of the structure of relays and contactors.
6 Termistör, phase relay, phase sequence relays, voltage relays, overcurrent relays. Application: Investigation of the connection of thermistor, phase sequence relay, voltage relay, overcurrent relays to the circuit.
7 Starting of D.C. motors, speed control, change to rotation direction. Application: Direction change application of direct current motor.
8 Starting to single phase motors, change to rotation direction. Application: Direct starting application to one-phase asynchronous motor.
9 Starting methods to 3-phase asynchronous motors. Application: Direct starting application to three phase asynchronous motor.
10 Week of the mid-term.
11 Motor speed controls, stopping methods in electric motors, Elevators. Application: Changing the number of revolutions of the three-phase asynchronous motor with the speed controller.
12 Structure of PLC. Application: introducing the PLC device.
13 Control projects with PLC. Application: Three-phase asnchronous motor control with PLC.
14 Control projects with PLC. Application: Three-phase asnchronous motor control with PLC and optical sensor.
