Course Objective	To learning the importance of ergonomics in furniture design and interior decoration.
Course Content	Definition and scope; Elements of ergonomics; anthropometry; Sitting anthropometry; Anthropometric measures; Anthropometry in space design; Anthropometry in hardware-furniture design; Hardware-furniture design for special consumer groups (children, elderly, handicapped); Kitchen, social spaces and resting area furniture design and anthropometric measure relation.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	To know the elements of ergonomics.
2	To know the concepts of anthropometry, sitting anthropometry, anthropometric measures, anthropometry in space design.
3	To know the relation of hardware-furniture design for special consumer groups (children, elderly, handicapped).
4	To knows the relationship between design of kitchens, social living spaces and resting area furniture and anthropometric measures.
