Course Objective With this course, students; life insurance (health, personal accident) and individual pension system, its operation in our country, its scope, historical development and practices in the sector are aimed to be learned in a comparative and practical way.
Course Content The concept of health insurance, its development in the West and in Turkey, tariff principles. Definition and features of life insurance, tariff system, types of life insurance and life insurance policy. Definition and features of personal accident insurance. Types of life insurance and life insurance policy. General features of private pension system, general concepts of economy, capital markets and basic capital market instruments, basic features of Turkish social security system, financing of social security, basic elements of individual pension system, elements of surveillance and control.
