Course Objective Understanding communication and its importance, ways of communicating, obstacles and problems, types and models of communication, the meaning and function of organizational communication.
Course Content Learning basic concepts and theories about communication. To be able to show the ways of communicating, the barriers and problems of communication. To be able to explain types and models of communication, ways of effective and persuasive communication. Topics; A- Definition and meaning of the concept of communication. B- Ways of communication, obstacles and problems. C- Types and models of communication D-Meaning function of organizational communication.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Analyzes communication elements by learning the basic concepts of communication.
2Learns the concepts related to the elements, process and operation of communication.
3Gains the ability to comprehend the types of communication, constructive and disruptive barriers, overcome communication barriers and provide effective communication.
4Develops verbal, nonverbal (body language) and written communication skills.
5Understands the ways of communication, recognizing language factors and their importance.
6Learns organizational communication, group and mass communication.
