Course Objective Ecological, economic and social sustainability in order to ensure soil productivity, protect the environment and aims to provide food security.
Course Content Agricultural practices and environmental impact, sustainable agricultural practices, food security, biodiversity, genetically modified organisms in agriculture, risk management, agriculture expectations. Organic farming principles and objectives of organic farming advantages organic production requirements in the world of organic farming practices, international organizations. Organic agricultural production quality control system, organic standards, inspection, certification, accreditation. Organic agricultural production quality control system, organic standards, inspection, certification, accreditation. Land and properties, formation, soil organic matter, soil fertility, soil processing. Soil pollution causes and effects, salt and sodium soils, organic linen, the importance of örtüçeşit. Soil erosion, formation and effects, prevention of erosion, soil water relations, the importance of water in the soil, water supply and irrigation water, irrigation methods, water conservation. Balanced nutrition, plant nutrients, plant health, the importance of soil organic matter, plant nutrients cycle.
