CONSERVATION AND RESTORATION OF CULTURAL HERITAGE DEPARTMENT

General Information

Pamukkale University Archeology Institute Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration Department graduate program was opened in April 2012 and started to admit students. It trains specialists who will make an academic career or work as a restorer. The program is open to all students who have completed their undergraduate education in different fields such as architectural restoration, preservation and restoration of cultural assets, archeology, art history, fine arts, handicrafts, museology, architecture and archaeometry.


Objective

The program includes scientific analysis and research; It aims to train experts and scientists who have the ability to develop and determine methods, make applications and evaluate the results of implementation, have advanced technical knowledge and skills, can monitor and interpret conservation activities in our country and in the world from theoretical and technical perspectives, who will contribute to the needs of the country.
