Pamukkale University Department of Civil Engineering continues its education with Geology Engineering Department in its building in the Kınıklı Campus with an area of 1300000 m². Department has also an Earthquake Investigation Center and Laboratory. The equipments bought for Hydraulics, Geotechnics, Transportation, Construction and Structural Materials Laboratories and were installed in May 1995.

Educational objectives of the program are to equip students in order to graduate as a civil engineer who can use fundamental engineering knowledge in order to solve the civil engineering problems that can be faced in application (EA1) who can carry out the civil engineering occupation in a local, regional, national, or international corporate or non-profit organizations (EA2) who can follow up the technological developments and believe in necessity of the life-long learning (EA3) who performs the occupation within the frame of ethics and responsibilities and attends occupational activities (EA4)
